Case Study: Instore Flonase pharmacy launch

 

The Challenge
Glaxo Smith Kline launched a product that treats allergic rhinitis: Flonase®. Many pharmacy assistants were unaware of the causes and symptoms of this common affliction. The sales force was also new and many of them were going into the field for the first time.

The Work
As part of an integrated campaign, brand reminders in the form of cupcakes were used as an educational tool via visual icons depicting the triggers of hay fever.

The Result
Flonase has seen unprecedented launch sales figures whilst also facilitating relationship building. This campaign redefined the approach to front shop assistants, creating a memorable talking point (After all, who can resist a cupcake?).
