DNAlysis Biotechnology provides gene profiling tools to the South African market, giving medical professionals insight into the risk of patients developing chronic diseases in future. By using the DNAlysis system, patients are able to adjust their lifestyles and diets in order to avoid falling prey to conditions that will demand expensive treatments, undermine their quality of life and ultimately shorten their lifespan.

The Challenge
The challenge was to create a relevant, unique and memorable brand identity and to increase awareness within the target market.

Our Approach

  • An overhaul of the look and feel of DNAlysis, injecting it with an exciting and unique brand personality.
  • The formation of a Key Opinion Leader Board in order to improve understanding and acceptance of the DNAlysis technology and form a team of key referral doctors.
  • Publicity through engaging press releases.
  • A gym promotion targeted a healthy, active market, people who are proactive about their wellbeing. This included gym posters, an SMS enquiry line, and pamphlet distribution.

The Results

The SMS response mechanism produced an excellent result in the form of enquiries on gene profiling technology and resulted in extensive media coverage. The development project resulted in 8 doctors applying to be Key Opinion Leaders.
